Humegro Green Nitrogen
The ultimate slow-release liquid fertiliser
Humegro Green Nitrogen™ is the ultimate slow-release liquid fertiliser, applicable either on soil or directly on plants. It is based on humic acids containing natural bio-stimulants and phytohormones (plant hormones) and up to an unprecedented 27% (m/m) of green nitrogen*. The humic acids’ slow release of the nitrogen facilitates its uptake by the plants, resulting in stronger growth, more nutritious plants, an increased plant-beneficial microbiota and improved water retention in the soil.
Effects
- Slowly releases available nitrogen
- Provides micronutrients
- Nurtures a plant-beneficial soil microbiota
- Provides natural phytohormones and bio-stimulants
- Improves soil cation exchange
- Increases soil water retention
Humegro Green Nitrogen™ increases nitrogen use efficiency between 20% and 30% compared to urea- and ammonium nitrate-based fertilisers.
Composition
Humegro Green Nitrogen™ is based on natural sources and contains large amounts of natural bio-stimulants and phytohormones. As with all biological products from natural sources, our green fertiliser may exhibit slight variations in ingredients concentration. This variability is a testament to their authentic, natural, plant-based origin and their ability to nurturing healthy soil and plants.
Typical analysis
Total N: | 27% m/m |
Humates-bound N*: | 25-27 m/m |
Urea-N: | 0-2 m/m |
Carbon: | 1,5-3% m/m |
Fulvic acids: | ≥5% m/m |
Humic acids: | ≥15% m/m |
pH: | 7,3-7,7 |
SG ”20°C”: | 1,15-1,22 g/mL |
Humegro Green Nitrogen™ contains natural phytohormones such as;
- Cytokinins – Promote shoot growth and delay leaf senescence
◦ iP = isopentenyl adenine - Jasmonates – Increase plant resistance to certain diseases and pests
◦ JA = Jasmonic acid, DiH-JA = DiH-JA = dihydrojasmonic acid - Auxins – Increase root growth and prevent fruit drop
◦ IAA = indole-3-acetic acid, OxIAA = oxo-IAA, I3A = indole-3-aldehyde - Phenolics – Promote shoot and root growth, and improve yield quality
◦ SA = salicylic acid, BzA = Benzoic acid, PAA = Phenylacetic acid, PAAM = Phenylacetamide
*Our green nitrogen is making synthetic nitrogen organic by binding it to the humic acids (humates-bound).
Storage
For optimal conditions, keep in a dark place at temperatures between 15°C and 40°C. Below 15°C the product might form crystals, but this does not compromise its quality. The crystals will solve again after reaching a temperature above 15°C. Make sure to close the lid after use.
Handling
- Shake or stir well before use.
- You can use any spraying equipment for either soil or plants. The product may contain particles (⌀ up to 75 µm) which may temporarily block fine spray nozzles. We therefore recommend to check the diameter of the nozzles before usage
Application rates
- Humegro Green Nitrogen™ is effective on all types of soils, from light sandy soils to heavy clay soils and golf courses.
- The product should be applied before germination and you can spread it in the same way as you do with other fertilisers. Though we recommend to use 10% less volume compared to them. The product releases nitrogen from two days after application until seven weeks afterwards and the nitrogen will be kept in the soil by the humates until the plant needs it. After the first season, you can gradually reduce the fertiliser volume with up to 70 %.
